Jeff sladick President
Jeff & Joy Sladick are the owners of Royal Custom Designs, purchasing the company in May 2023. Jeff has a passion for American made furniture and has held leadership positions with several renowned domestic furniture brands in the hospitality design industry. Jeff is an experienced woodworker and has a deep understanding of manufacturing premium quality product. He is very active in the industry serving on the advisory board for BDNY and volunteering his time for NEWH at regional events.
Martha Clark vice president
Martha Clark joined the RCD Team in 2016 first in the role of Projects Director, and is currently serving as our Vice President. With nearly 3 decades of experience in leadership, and luxury furniture manufacturing, Martha uses her broad experience to lead the Sales, Marketing and Project Teams in the company’s objective of providing customers with exquisite furnishings and exceptional service. Martha is a nature & art lover who spends her free time working on her butterfly garden, painting, cooking, traveling and enjoying the outdoors with family, friends, and her beloved pets.
Mark ashak CONTROLLER
Mark joined RCD in 2022 and currently serves as our Controller. Mark brings 17+ years of Finance and Controlling experience across various industries. Mark's expertise plays a pivotal role in shaping RCD's financial strategies and ensuring the company's fiscal health. As the Controller at RCD, Mark is responsible for overseeing and managing the financial aspects of the organization, including budgeting, financial reporting, and analysis. His meticulous attention to detail and deep understanding of financial principles contribute significantly to RCD's financial stability and growth. Outside of the office, Mark values quality time spent with family and friends.
MONICA FLORES human resources director
Monica does a wonderful job taking care of the main ingredient to our success. Our employees. She works vigorously to ensure the safety and well being of every person working at RCD. Everyone loves her enthusiasm and sense of service. When not at work, Monica enjoys spending time with her beautiful family and friends.
Edgar silva eSTIMATING MANAGER
Edgar has had his share of experience in hospitality, and furniture manufacturing serving the industry for 10+ years. He currently serves our clients in the role of Estimating Manager. When not in the office, Edgar enjoys spending time with his family playing & watching soccer. He loves the outdoors so is always looking for an opportunity to go camping or hiking.
Philip usher business development manager
Philip first joined RCD in 2019 as a special accounts Project Manager, and now serving our clients with their sales needs in his new role of Business Development Manager. Originally from London, Philip is no stranger to the furniture industry having previously owned his own furniture business. In his short time with RCD he has become a key contributor to the team and beloved by our clients for his work ethic, furniture knowledge and exceptional communication skills. In his free time, Philip enjoys the outdoors, traveling and spending time with his beautiful family.
Maria Castro Senior Project MANAGER
Maria first joined RCD as a Project Coordinator in 2016. Since then, she was promoted to Project Manager and now serves in the role of Senior Project Manager. Maria has 25+ years of experience in the furniture manufacturing industry, ranging from hospitality, high end residential and retail. When not at work, Maria can be found volunteering at her daughter’s dance group where she serves as a group coordinator. In her spare time Maria enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Vanessa Cobb senior project manager
Vanessa was born in Cincinnati Ohio, raised in Cali. She joined our Team in 2019 and currently serves as a Senior Project Manager. Vanessa brings 10 years of interior design, customer service and construction experience to our team and leads a very structured team. Outside of work, Vanessa has 3 children that keep her busy with sports. She loves arts & crafts but her first love is singing and making music. She enjoys foreign films but has a sweet spot for cartoons…laughter is the way to her heart! She’s also a big fan of Bruce Lee!
Daisy dimas project manager
Daisy joined RCD in 2022 in the role of Project Manager. She brings with her 7+ years of furniture and leadership experience as well as 10+ years of customer service focus. Daisy takes great pride in her work, and also has a great eye for details. When not at work, Daisy enjoys travelling, reading, and spending quality time with her family and friends. Daisy and her hubby are also avid Dodger and LAFC fans and enjoy attending games during the season.
orlando morales project manager
Orlando joined RCD in 2021 in the role of Project Manager. He comes to us with 20+ years of furniture manufacturing experience and has a great sense of service. He graduated interior design from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising , and has an eye for details. In his free time Orlando enjoys the outdoors, spending time with friends and family, and taking long walks with his beloved doggie Claire.
Claudia vanegas project manager
Claudia joined the RCD team in 2022 in the role of Project Manager. She brings 10+ years of customer service experience, and her every day goal is to make a difference in someone’s day. Claudia is extremely dedicated and has a great sense of service. When not at work, Claudia loves spending time with friends and family.

Aramiz joined the RCD Team in 2022 in the role of Project Manager. Although new to Hospitality, Aramiz has had his share of experience in the furniture field. He is a talented young man with exceptional communication skills and eager to learn more. Aramiz enjoys spending time with his family, trying new food, traveling, and anything sports related.
Jeff Illingworth ENGINEERING MANAGER
Jeff has been a big asset to the RCD Team on and off for several years. This time around he has returned to lead the engineering team in the role of Engineering Manager. Jeff has broad experience in manufacturing and Hospitality. His knowledge of auto cad and solid works allows us to provide our clients with the best of both worlds. Jeff enjoys the outdoors, and spending time with his family and friends.
